Our first year in Austin we decided we would have a stay-cation for the long MLK weekend. We'd only lived in Austin 4 months and really didn't feel like we'd had a chance to explore. One of our favorite discoveries was the Austin Toy Museum. If you're a child of the 80s and 90s, I promise you will find something you played with on the shelves here: My Little Pony, Ninja Turtles, Star Wars Collectibles, HeMan, and She-ra. They've got it all. Admission includes all the arcades classics on free play as well as an original NES. Are you curious if your kids in 2018 can waste as many hours on Duck Hunt as you did in 1992? You can find out.
